Series of wall lights inspired by the artist’s mother’s forty-year-old herbarium and the role of floristry in the life of his family. Plants showcased behind the glass have been gathered by the Vistula riverbank and prepared by Mateusz and his mother.

Each object in the series is touch-sensitive – a gentle tap at the bottom of the lamp’s frame will produce warm, ambient light. The illumination coming from behind the specimen allows the viewer to perceive the extraordinary details of the plant, as its state constitutes a recording of a specific moment in the past.
